The Marriott Anaheim Hotel,

A four star hotel is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk of the Disneyland? Park. Each of the 1,030 hotel rooms include high-speed internet, plush Marriott bedding, and tasteful decor, state of the art gym and a large indoor / outdoor swimming pool.  The hotel is also within walking distance of the Downtown Disneyland? District, an outdoor promenade with restaurants, theatres, and shopping in a tropical setting.Just steps in the other direction will take you to the Anaheim GardenWalk, an oasis of outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment in the heart of Orange County.Inside the hotel are a wide variety of eating choices, including a Steakhouse, Pizza Hut, Starbuck's coffee shop, etc.It is grander than the hotel last year and is cheaper in price.

We are asking all teachers to support CRN-USA by staying at this hotel.Did I mention the indoor / outdoor swimming pool, it is something else; be sure to bring your gear.

Every nickname for LA describes a place where fantasy becomes reality.Schmooze with celebrities, shop Rodeo Drive or simply catch the sun at the beach.There's never a shortage of places to go or wishes to be granted in the City of Angels.Los Angeles is a large vibrant city famous for film stars, beautiful people, great food, shopping, sun filled beaches and traffic jams.The city is made up of individual counties / areas.Anaheim is one of those areas. For our needs it is centrally located.  It is beside Disneyland (for those who do not want to walk to the Park a shuttle bus is available from the Hotel every 10 mins) and 30 mins to both downtown Los Angeles and / or Universal Studios.

Remember those beautiful people I mentioned?They travel by car from one area to the next in search of those film starts, food, shopping and beaches - hence the traffic jams.No one walks in Los Angeles;it is far too big.You either drive or take public transport.I expect most people will want to spend at least two days in Disneyland.After that there are lots of options.Last year we hired a number of buses and everyone had a great time.When I say "we" I really mean CARA and WEXFORD ACADEMY.They had a blast.I think Marion and Kay would both be prepared to share their experiences of organizing and using tour buses in California; depending on interest we can do the same this year.

Airport: 

* Fly Dublin to London and then take a direct flight to LAX.

*  Fly from Dublin to the East Coast of America. Perhaps Boston, Chicago,  Washington,   New York, Philadelphia etc.  From one of these cities you can fly directly to LAX.

* Almost all parents / teachers / dancers traveling within America are also likely to arrive in   LAX.

How to get from Los Angles Airport to the Marriott: 

Many major cities in America have what are called Super Shuttles.These are mini-vans that are at the Airport and shuttle people to popular hotels.You will have no problem getting from LAX to the Marriott.If enough people are arriving at the same time, perhaps we can organize a larger shuttle.
